We collect and freeze semen here on the farm utilizing the latest technology. We have stored frozen semen from many stallions that are no longer available for live cover. The success of frozen semen is directly dependant upon the technician  using the product. It can be an effective tool to use in reproduction but there are very few individuals that have the ability and know how to utilize frozen semen properly. We have good success using frozen semen here on the farm. The semen we freeze has good motility on post thaw and we generally put 2 billion live progressive motel sperm per straw at post thaw. The key factor in utilization of frozen semen is proper timing in the insemination of the recipient mare.
